American Sign Language (ASL) K-12 Content Standard

This website is designed to help teachers plan for American Sign Language (ASL) instruction for deaf and hard of hearing students nationwide. The website was developed by Gallaudet University's Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Resource Center.

The K-12 ASL Content Standards consist of five Anchor Standards that describe the general expectations that students learning ASL as a first language should meet across grades K-12 for college and career readiness.
