Students with Disabilities and the Core Arts Standards: Guiding Principles for Teachers

The Kennedy center provides resources for families as well as teachers in providing education in the arts for children with special needs. This article is specifically for teachers, and describes methods for teaching students with special needs, including the use of evidence-based practices and Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and selecting appropriate accommodations.
