This paper outlines an effective, research-to-practice approach to teaching topics on STEM to children with Dyslexia. The research took place at a five week summer camp for children ages 5-12. The results indicate that children with dyslexic challenges need to be encouraged to persue STEM, as they are highly capable, and learning in STEM is different than their early challenges in learning to read.
