PYTHEIA: A Scale for Assessing Rehabilitation and Assistive Robotics

As technology advances, the problem nowadays has been shifted to the improvement and measurement of the quality of life of each individual even when he/she is facing disability conditions. AT can be effectively used as a mean to improve the independent living of a person facing physical limitations and thus, it is closely related to the quality of life. The purpose of this study was to develop a scale called PYTHEIA. This is a self-reported tool for the assessment of rehabilitation and assistive robotics and other AT devices. According to the results presented, PYTHEIA is a valid and reliable scale able to be applied to different groups for the evaluation of various assistive technology devices.
