Accessibility is essential for leveraging technology and providing educational opportunities for all students. This concept involves the design of web-based materials, devices, digital tools, and platforms that support equal access to educational content, services, and activities. In their presentation, Digital Accessibility: What Education Leaders Need to Know, Tracy Gray, Ph.D. (Center on Technology and Disability and American Institutes for Research) and Jean Tower (Needham Public Schools, Massachusetts) discuss sensible solutions to establish a proactive approach to making accessible technology and resources a state-and district-wide priority to ensure that all students, teachers, and parents can benefit from digital resources and tools.

Presentation developed by the Center on Technology and Disability SEA and LEA Technical Assistance Team, led by American Institutes for Research in collaboration with Jean Tower, Needham Public Schools.
