This qualitative research project examined and identified essential elements of a successful STEM-support model at Landmark College. The study gathered and analyzed data about student persistence and learning in STEM. Findings indicate that 1) academic counseling is a core support - technology facilitates, not supplements, this relationship, and 2) learning comes through metacognition.
