iPad Information

This newsletter issue brings more information about integration of iPads into existing activities and routines. Included are ways in which apps can be used to promote children's participation in activities and routines. The iPad brings children an interactive experience with multi-sensory feedback that can teach cause and effect, fine motor skills, communication, and socialization. All of this can occur easily in the context of a routine in which the child engages. The bright colors and music in some of these apps will keep children interested once they begin using them, which will enable them to learn new skills and sharpen old ones.
