Magic Ear Kids

Magic Ear Kids is a blog by the mother of a child with mild-to-moderate hearing loss. Also an aide in special education, she offers a unique perspective on issues relating to hearing loss, both that of her daughter and of other children and adults. She deals with day-to-day issues, including battery management, effective advocacy in school and swim class, the depiction of hearing loss in children's TV, and the selection of ear mold colors. There is also a resource area and parents' forum, and links to other resource sites with more comprehensive information on broader topic areas, but this unique perspective on daily life with a seven year old with "magic ears" is definitely is definitely worth a look.
